UW closet board everyday + special wear Netlify forms connected

what’s in your campus closet?

MSG is a UW-based closet board where students can list pieces with an Instagram handle, photos, price, size, and pickup notes — then classmates can sort by category, size, and price.

UW first

Right now MSG is set up for UW only. You can start by collecting listings first, then manually email UW clubs once there is something real to show.

UW students

List everyday pieces, going-out outfits, formals, game-day clothes, jackets, and accessories.

Clubs

Use MSG for formals, fundraisers, themed events, game days, performances, and member closets.

Greek life

Easy listings for date parties, rush looks, shared closets, and last-minute outfit borrowing.

Seattle pickup

Keep it local and cheap with UW-area handoffs before expanding to other campuses later.

UW board

Students can submit real UW listings here. Submissions go to your Netlify Forms dashboard and also appear as a browser preview so you can demo the flow.

browse + sort

Sort UW listings by category, size, price, newest, or search text. Public posting can stay approval-only while you manually reach out to UW clubs.

no UW listings yet

When UW students submit items, this becomes a searchable closet feed. Submit a listing to test the flow.

built for UW club leaders

No separate club request form. You can manually email clubs and send them this site as the example: students list pieces, MSG reviews submissions, and the board becomes a shared UW closet.

why campus groups would care

Easy listing

Students post with an Instagram handle, photos, price, size, category, and pickup notes — no full seller account setup needed for the first UW pilot.

Useful for real campus life

Everyday fits, interview clothes, date-party outfits, game-day pieces, concerts, formals, jackets, bags, and last-minute miscellaneous add-ons all fit the same board.

Less overbuying

Students can borrow or rent what already exists nearby instead of buying a fast-fashion piece for one night and never wearing it again.

Simple club ask

When you email UW clubs, ask whether they would share the listing page with members or help seed the first closet by having members list 3–5 pieces.

cheap without buying more

MSG still keeps the sustainability angle: instead of buying fast fashion for one class presentation, date party, game day, or night out, students can reuse what is already sitting in nearby closets.
